Now you are in the Freeware Boulder Dash Clones section. Here are all freeware Boulderdash clones for PC listed. If there is still a freeware clone that is not mentioned here, please report it and I will add it. Just click on the platform (Windows for example) and find clones that run on that platform.
Some comprehensive (and extra good) games have their own page. Just follow their link to get all available information, downloads, etc. of them.
It might be that you don't know what a certain platform is. For example, you have never heard of 'DHTML' before. For that reason, a description can be found at the top of each page of the platforms listed in the menu to the left. Most of those platforms just work in Windows, but some of them, like Unix or Mac OS X (which are Operation Systems themselves) don't work in Windows.
MS-DOS is a bit older and therefore, some MS-DOS games will not work properly on modern PCs. Especially Windows XP has a lot of problems with them. You could try the DOSGames.com Windows XP hints to fix those problems. Another option is using a DOS emulator like DOSBox. That's a program to imitate the old MS-DOS Operating System.
Remember that DHTML, J2ME, Java and Shockwave Flash games are always windowed. You play them in your browser. That might influence your gaming pleasure, but they are PC platforms, too, so I added them to this site as well.
